Cylinder Valve Air Tightness Test Equipment


1. Product Application
The cylinder valve air tightness test equipment developed by Jinan Super Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly used for the air tightness test of finished cylinder valves. A certain pressure of compressed air is injected into the air inlet of the cylinder valve, and the valve is immersed in water to check for leakage.
Specified test pressure compressed air is charged into the cylinder valve interior; the equipment automatically opens the cylinder valve and submerges it into water. During the pressure holding process, the leakage of the valve assembly is inspected. After the valve is lifted out of the water, the valve will be automatically closed, and the fixture will be released.
The equipment adopts servo motor control to realize automatic opening and closing of cylinder valves, and uses cylinder driving to complete the submerging and lifting actions of the valve in water.

II. Requirements for Cylinder Valve Air Tightness Test Equipment
The equipment can operate normally with a rated voltage fluctuation range of ±10%;
The equipment shall work properly in an environment without obvious electromagnetic field interference;
The equipment shall be applicable under conditions free from impact and vibration;
Rotation is driven by a servo motor with adjustable torque, speed and angle;
The equipment shall be equipped with overload and leakage protection functions. It will stop automatically in case of overload or electric leakage;
The test medium of the test bench is clean compressed air. An air pressure regulating valve is installed inside, and the test pressure can be adjusted manually during testing;
A torque sensor is adopted to display the rotating torque in real time during testing;
The water tank is fitted with a water shortage protection switch for automatic water replenishment when water is insufficient;
To ensure system reliability and stability, key components including torque sensors, pressure sensors and high-pressure pressure reducing valves adopt imported brand products;
Overall weight: ≤ 200 kg;
Overall dimension (L×W×H): 1800mm×800mm×1600mm;
The equipment shall comply with ergonomic design to facilitate operator operation.
III. Technical Parameters of Cylinder Valve Air Tightness Test Equipment
Adjustable pressure holding time: within 99 hours (adjustable);
Control circuit voltage: DC 24V;
Air source pressure:
High pressure: 1MPa~36MPa (adjustable);
Low pressure: 0.05MPa~1MPa (adjustable);
Power supply: AC 220V.
IV. Test Methods
1. Closed State Tightness Test
Mount the cylinder valve on the test device, and close the valve with a torque not exceeding 7N·m. Charge nitrogen or compressed air into the air inlet up to 1.2 times the nominal working pressure (nominal pressure: 20MPa and 30MPa). Immerse the test device in water and maintain pressure for no less than 1 minute, then observe whether air bubbles appear.
2. Open State Tightness Test
Fix the cylinder valve on the test device and seal the outlet connection. Open the valve with a torque not exceeding 7N·m. Fill the valve inlet with nitrogen or compressed air to 1.2 times the nominal working pressure. Submerge the assembly in water and hold pressure for at least 1 minute. Repeat valve opening and closing operations, and check for bubble leakage.
3. Low-pressure Tightness Test
Install the cylinder valve on the test device, and fill the inlet with nitrogen or compressed air at 0.05MPa. Conduct the test in accordance with the procedures for closed and open state tightness tests, and observe any bubble generation.
