I. Application Scope
The synthetic blood penetration tester for medical surgical masks manufactured by Jinan SUPER meets the requirements of standard YY0469-2011 Medical Surgical Masks. It can display pressure curves in real time, generate test reports and store test data. This instrument effectively evaluates the resistance of medical surgical masks to synthetic blood penetration, so as to provide safer and more reliable protection for medical staff. It is widely used in medical mask manufacturers, medical device testing institutions and other facilities, and plays an important role in safeguarding the health and safety of medical workers.
Test Procedure: Spray 2 mL of synthetic blood onto the outer surface of the mask at a pressure of 16 kPa. No penetration shall occur on the inner surface of the mask.
Testing Process: Fix the sample on the sample fixture of the tester. Spray 2 mL of synthetic blood with a surface tension of 0.042±0.002 N/m horizontally onto the target area of the test sample through a needle tube with an inner diameter of 0.84 mm. The spray nozzle is 30.5 cm away from the center of the sample. Remove the sample and conduct visual inspection within 10 seconds.
